Coastal Dune Lakes
Deer Lake

Deer Lake is completely within the borders of Deer Lake State Park, with an entrance on Scenic 30A just east of Seagrove Beach. Deer Lake is about 38 acres in size.
Many people don’t know that SoWal has a few “no name” coastal dune lakes – lakes that are small in size, don’t open to the Gulf and may even dry up substantially during droughts. There is one such “no name” lake just west of Deer Lake bordering the Watersound West subdivision.
