Walton County Offers Citizen Survey on Land Development Code

Walton County is rewriting its Land Development
Code — the rules that shape how land is developed, where businesses can locate,
and how our natural resources are protected.

The goal? A code that’s more predictable, easier to understand, and better aligned
with the community’s vision.

discusses the Walton County Land Development Code and the importance of the
public survey.


In May, 14 roundtable discussions were held across the county. Now we’re
bringing that conversation to every resident with a short community survey. It
takes just 15–20 minutes, works on your phone, and your responses stay
confidential. You’ll rate the current permitting process, rank your priorities, and
weigh in, chapter by chapter.
