What are your favorite short nature walks in South Walton? Shady trails or boardwalks would be great.

The Barrier Dune Nature Trail in Grayton Beach State Park is number one in my book.
Eastern Lake Trail at 30A Trailhead has a variety of habitats, a bit of elevation change and a view of Eastern Lake headwaters. It's a short out and back unless you connect with the main Eastern Lake trail system.

McQuage Bayou is grayt but yeah all of them are good especially in the parks.
