I guess it has been a few years since I last sat in the commanding seat of a boat with an engine, so we would all be better off if I sat back with a warm Guiness and relaxed instead. Oh, I guess that want work with this boat, eh? Does it have a minimum speed around 30mph?

You cannot be that crazy, with the Mrs and the little Otters, dog, etc, so I guess I trust your driving abilities. Surely you are not worse than the guys with whom I grew up. They use to play chicken with their 12ft, flat bottom aluminum boats which were powered by a 35hp engine, or there abouts.

Nothing like having a friend with a boat...eh?

Nope, not that crazy in a boat (in my best Rrainman voice) "I'm an excellent driver" . But the boat in the pic runs 100mph on factory warrantied power  Let me hear ya say Ya Baby!!

And one more (remember gas is probably gonna be $3.00/gal by spring)
Are you reminding us, or yourself? Or, are you telling me that I should pony up for the gas since you are bringing the boat? Doesn't race fuel cost a bit more? Maybe, if I stay on shore, I can save some bucks, with which, I can sit back with a four pack of Guiness and relax. I bet that boat gets close to 2 miles per gallon. Does the driver come with the boat?

Hey! I never charge for gas :nono1: Not cool IMHO. Race fuel would probably be more but the boat in the pic uses pump gas as well as my little otter carring bowrider  . If you keep that boat around 3,000 to 3,500 RPM's (which is loafing the engines and running 45 to 55 mph  ) it gets 1.8 to 2mpg  Not sure if she comes with the boat  but I think she teaches you how to properly handle the boat at all speeds
