I like my waffles better than anyone else's pancakes. I'm thinking that since I've started travelling with my Sandcastle cake pan, I may as well add to my repetoire and bring my faithful Belgian waffle iron with me wherever I go. ;-)

Gull, have u had time to read all of the posts? Your baking secret saved us a boatload of time for my lemon pound cake!

There were just three of us for lunch. Mom felt bad and didn't come. Issues with sister-and-law and bro (long story). Sister at Seagrove catching sharks (http://home.earthlink.net/~beachrunner/shark.jpg ) .

Limited Menu:

Easter Sunday Marinated Asparagus with Fay?s Vinaigrette
Green Salad with Red and Yellow Pepper Rings
Tomato Pie from ?Southern Born and Bread?
Lauren?s Green Beans
Pork Roast
Lemon Pound Cake

BTW we sounded *good* at church today.

Ah hah! I see you have found the Baker's Joy! (For everyone else, it's a spray that combines oil and flour which allows baked cakes to fall out of their cake forms effortlessly, no matter how intricate.) Good; glad I could be of service in the kitchen. Anything to further the cause of luscious desserts.

I'm sure there are a whole bunch of us today who are going to be watching our waistlines this week in efforts to undo the "damage" of Easter Sunday meals! Entirely worth it, however.

I dunno how far out they were on Saturday when she caught it. They go out on a boat launched at Grayton. My sister said, "Talk about a workout -- WOW - I am still tired from reeling that #^$%*!! in.....he sure put up a good fight." Actually they caught 3 sharks and threw them all back in.

Unfortunately my daughter didn't get to see me use it because she was late getting home. She would have flipped over it.
