Responsibilities include:

- Providing administrative support to a fast-paced office involved in residential construction, roofing, and interior design
- Managing calendars and appointments
- Daily phone/mail/email contact with vendors, customers, and employees
- Bookkeeping - including Payroll, HR, A/R, A/P
- Creating and maintaining documents, reports, proposals, contracts, spreadsheets, customer files
- Administering workers comp, health, dental insurance programs

Hi - My name is Susan Thornton and I just may be the perfect candidate for the job you have open. Having done all the interior design for my own home that i built two years ago, I have often wondered if there was a job opportunity for someone who is skilled in interiors, but not degreed. I am also highly skilled in the computer programs you listed in your ad and have excellent communication skills. Prior to moving here, I worked for an advertising agency as a production manager for 7 years, and as a buyer for a retail chain for 6 years. Both of these jobs required great attention to detail and a high level ability to multi-task.

I have owned my own business here in the area for the last 10 years and will be closing it down in the next couple of months. Consequently, I haven't put together a current resume yet and will not hurry to do so if you have already fill the position.
