Cessna Landing Park

Cessna Landing is a county park on Highway 393 a few miles north of US 98 on Hogtown bayou. The park is a great place to launch a boat for fishing or sailing. It is the heart of what was the first settlement in Santa Rosa beach known as old town Santa Rosa.
Lumber and turpentine were the main industries and was shipped from the bayou to all parts of the world through Pensacola. The park has a boat launch, docks, picnic shelters, basketball court, squash court, and playground. Right next door is the Bayou Arts Center, home to the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County.

Eden Gardens State Park consists of 163 upland acres just north of Seagrove Beach, across highway 98 in Point Washington, along the shores of Tucker Bayou and the Choctawhatchee Bay.
