Location: Atypical – rental home in Grayton Beach.
Driving on Grayton beach is only allowed with a properly permitted vehicle for about 300 yards along the beach.
In this view is the Western Lake Outfall. The lake is one of South Walton’s Coastal Dune Lakes – freshwater lakes that may periodically open to the Gulf. The water may appear dark, which is from natural tannins in leaves and other vegetation in the lake. Lake outfalls are a favorite place for the kiddies to play!
